Kids are full of questions, and parents and grandparents are supposed to have all the answers. Unfortunately, money is a mystery to many adults, too. Enter Janet Bodnar, Kiplinger's Personal Finance executive editor and a nationally recognized expert in the field of children's and family finances.

Janet's weekly column, "Money-Smart Kids," can be found on Kiplinger.com and is distributed to newspapers by The New York Times syndicate. Janet also writes a column for Kiplinger's magazine.

Janet is the author of four books on kids and money, most recently Dollars & Sense for Kids. She has appeared on Oprah, the Today show, Good Morning America, The Early Show on CBS, and is frequently quoted in publications ranging from Parents to The Wall Street Journal. An award-winning journalist, she has covered a wide range of personal finance topics on investing, money management and the economy, and is a regular guest on CBS and Fox TV affiliates in Washington, D.C.

Janet's newest book is Think Single! The Woman's Guide to Financial Security at Every Stage of Life.

Married, she is the mother of three children.
