Kevin McCormally
Kevin McCormally is Kiplinger's tax man.
As the editorial director of Kiplinger's Personal Finance, Kevin has covered federal income taxes for a quarter of a century -- a time that has brought enormous changes and enormous opportunities for taxpayers who know how to take advantage of the rules.
If it's a Kiplinger product -- magazine, website, books, software, you name it -- if it involves taxes in any way Kevin probably had a hand in it.
Over the last several years he's compiled daily tax tips for Kiplinger.com; designed web calculators to show users exactly how tax changes will affect them; spearheaded the tax advice programmed into Kiplinger TaxCut software; and has authored numerous editions of Kiplinger's Cut Your Taxes, an annual guide to year-round tax planning. You may also see him on television (he's a regular commentator on public television's Nightly Business Report) and hear him on the radio discussing changes in the tax law and the opportunities they present.
When he's not tearing into the tax code, he's editing stories for the managing section of the magazine.
